Additional Training (#1)

In one of the dojo-style training rooms along the side of the main hall, a young woman sits in meditation awaiting the arrival of her students. She floats just above her seat, the tail of her cloak resting an the floor beneath her. As the academy student who opted for additional training arrive, they spread out along the sides of the dojo, watching in confusion. Her eyes open and she lowers to the floor, motioning for the children to take their seats, "My name is Kiyu Kurosuki, And in this course you will learn to better resonate with the natural energy that flows around you, and in doing so you will be more able with the techniques and styles taught here in Kemuri, especially those of the Eteru-Ryoku." She stands and walks down the central row between her students s they take their seats.

Ryuzakki mumbles into the scroll in his mouth as Bakuda drags both he and Ototo into the dojo, and gently, but forcibly pushes them to the seat on either side of herself. She then takes her own seat, watching Kiyu with admiration and wonder. Ryuzakki leans back and grunts softly as he falls to his seat, his eyes drifting lazily over toward Ototo, who similarly lets out an exasperated sigh, "yeah..." he manages to mutter meekly shaking his head softly. Ryuzakki nods in agreement as he rolls his eyes as his gaze passes by Bakuda and onto their new teacher.

Kiyu glances at the three late arrivals mentally making note of their disorderly nature, "To better resonate one must be at peace, this is a difficult task, and yet a simple one." she says walking back up the isle, "To find peace, true inner peace, one must search deep within themselves, find what troubles them, face these troubles and release them. A simple matter, yet few can ever truly accomplish it." She adds, taking her seat, and beginning to meditate. "Now, all of you, close your eyes, let your mind drift, separate yourself from your body, feel your surroundings, the cool breeze, the warm light, the quiet stillness." She pauses, taking a deep breath, "Now turn your senses inward, feel your breath, listen to the beating of your heart, then delve deeper, your thoughts, feelings, inner desires, your deepest fears." She pauses allowing her students to meditate in peace a while.

Ryuzakki settles into meditation, this was no difficult task for one who spends so much of his time watching the clouds. he soon tunes out all distraction and turns his thoughts inward, the area around him seems to darken as his mind pulls away from the outside world. He finds himself in a dark chamber, a faint light emanating from his core. He wanders around, perfectly comfortable in this familiar darkness and eventually finds a wall. Walking along the wall, he makes his way deeper into his mind, the wall depicts the story of his life in the form of a hieroglyphic-like mural. After what seems like hours he comes to a heavy-looking stone door, he lets out a sigh and pushes the door open with relative ease for its appearance. The door opens into a room, empty and dark, odd that he would open a door only to find more of the same darkness. The door slams shut behind him, the darkness here was not the same, it begins taking shape, not a shape that he can see, but a presence he can feel. The darkness grows; larger, heavier with each breath crushing him until he can no longer breathe, the darkness spins around him, emanating its own form of light, a dark and consuming light, drawing out and destroying his own. A deep chill permeates his being like the heat of a flame, a burning cold that chills him from the inside. There he stands disoriented, breathless, and frozen unable to move or even think. Never before had he encountered anything like this in his meditation, though neither had he ever come across any doors, let lone opened them.

Kiyu lets out a long breathe, "Now that you've met your inner fear, fight back, push out and inner light of peace, fill your mind so completely that the fear is pushed beyond you mind, out into the nothingness, never to darken your life again." she says, seeing that the majority of her students were well overcome with their fears. A sensation of peace radiates from her as she speaks, giving strength to her students, showing them what it feels like so that they may replicate it and conquer their fear.
